If anyone was concerned the second go around they deserved to be mocked. I was one of the ones that wasnt even worried about it the first time.

Very good for ISU. Tulsa was a very good team this year and considering ISU plays Tulsa in 2012 and 2013, I'd rather they suck balls.

They won't try to get Rhoads for DC will they?

Me too. The first 6 games in 2013 are brutal if Tulsa keeps it up:
Sat, Aug 31 Northern Iowa Ames, Iowa

Sat, Sep 14 Iowa Ames, Iowa

Sat, Sep 21 Tulsa at Tulsa, Okla.

Sat, Sep 28 Texas (Family Weekend) * Ames, Iowa

Sat, Oct 05 Baylor * at Waco, Texas

Sat, Oct 12 Missouri * at Columbia, Mo.

No surprise that Pedersen again focused on offense for his choice of a head coach.

I paused, but I was never really concerned, definitely not worried. Even ISU can't be that cursed (can they?)...

Honestly, probably a better hire than they made the first time around. He's won at 2 schools.

Re: Pitt hires Todd Graham away from Tulsa

Sounds like most of the Pitt fans wanted the PSU DC. I think that Graham is a good coach, but how does he go about recruiting the east coast? For the most part, he's a Texas guy (other than a few years under RichRod where he was probably still recruiting Texas for UWV). That would be my big worry...he's going to want to bring most of his Tulsa staff with him and 95% of their roster is from OK, TX, AR and LA. Sorry, but you are not going to recruit those guys to Pitt when they have Big 12 and SEC schools right next door. I don't care if TCU is in the Big East, that isn't going to give Pitt a ton more exposure down there.

I think that his assistant hires are going to be more important than usual. You can't make a living off of TX players at Pitt.
