Great info but I do not agree with Bill that Baylor has a better coach. I will take BF over any other coach in the country.

yeah, didn't like that comment either. Easy to be a great coach when you have the best player in the country surrounded by All-Americans.

I am pretty sure that Bill was being at least a little bit sarcastic there. Baylor's coach must have made some comments that BF didn't like after the game. He referenced it towards the beginning of the presser.

Here is the full list of Coach Mulkey quotes during the post-game presser.

    Baylor Head Coach Kim Mulkey
On her team’s defense to start the game:
“We were ready to play. Don’t look at that score. You are going to see lots of that in the Big 12. I was very pleased with our prepartation. I thought the coaches were well prepared. I thought our players listened. Sure we made mistakes, sure we are going to learn, sure we are young, but you know we are going to guard you. I think it starts with on-ball defense first. We challenged them. I think (Kelsey) Bolte had one bucket in the first half. She makes a lot of threes. I just thought that you saw the depth of our basketball team.”

On Iowa State’s run in the second half:
“I thought some of it was just fatigue. Honestly, I thought we just played so hard and I thought fatigue allowed them to hit some threes. I thought, obviously some of their sets are tough to guard. They spread the floor on you. They have got a 6-7 kid out there shooting threes. They are well-coached. They are never going to go away. You can have a double figure lead on those guys and because of their style of play, they are in the ball game after two or three more possessions.”

    On Iowa State’s defense:
“I didn’t know if Bill (Fennelley) would play us his usual zone, which we saw a lot of last year against him. I think that tells you that he probably respects our perimeter shooting now much more than he did a year ago, because you didn’t see a bit of zone this year. You saw the usual double on Griner, but he didn’t play any zone and that is very unusual. I thought we hit some big threes today. We didn’t take a lot, but when you can shoot 40 percent from the thre,e that is all you can ask.”

perhaps it was her "he's the grandfather of the Big 12" comment. I listened to her presser, and she talked about how well coached ISU is.
