    The Cape

Did anyone else watch this train wreck? I could only stand an hour of it. I really don't think this is going to last long.

Yes, and I agree. Total train wreck, but I watched the whole 2 hours hoping it would get better. Never did.

Oh man, I watched an hour and just couldn't take it seriously.
And yes I thought it was lame, but I was feeling pretty bored and trying not to think of impending classes.

Damn, I had this DVR'd and I was hoping for good things...I'll still try and watch it but without 24, Walking Dead and Spartacus I literally have not one single show I can watch. Was hoping this would be my one.

    Re: The Cape

From the commercials to me it looked like a lame attempt to recover Heroes' early days glory, but if it's as bad as everyone is saying it is, wow - what a waste of Izabella Miko...

Chuck Lidell: I paint my toenails with pink and black polish. Problem is, I get more paint on my toes and on the carpet than on my nails. Any advice?
Maria Sharapova: Don't you beat up other guys for a living? I don't know how to answer this.

If I were you I wouldn't waste my time man, this show is terrible. Honestly, reruns of any of the shows you described will be more fulfilling than this.
    I will lay it out-
    Cheesing lines.
    Bad acting
    All around bad writing
    Fail super hero usage
The storyline goes from point A to point C without any justification.
I am usually not this big of a critic but this show sucks.

    Re: The Cape

NBC canceled Heroes, then pays good money to show this crap? Not a happy Caddo here. Bring back Heroes.

I was thinking along the same lines. I wanted this show to do well so I could watch Summer Glau. She seems to be seriously cursed, both Firefly and Terminator: SCC had very short runs. I didn't see the premiere, but if it really is so bad I'm going to disappointed.

    Re: The Cape

I only watched a bit but is was incredibly schlocky. What the hell was up with the blaring score to the show? Seriously it was loud enough at times you couldn't hear what was said.

    Re: The Cape

What a bummer, i was hoping for it to be good. I think if they made a tv show with the same style as kick a**, it would be a hit. Down and dirty, few over the top things and very unothadox.

    Re: The Cape

It's about as good as The Event - dreadful.

I was a victim of a series of accidents, as are we all.
