I just saw from free information on scout that he was offered by Pitt yesterday, Hopefully we are still the top choice for him!!!

Good. More impressive when we land him.

I think that at this point, its just a matter of time. I mean, us, Pitt and Cal are the only big programs in on him. He and his family are good friends with Coach Otzelberger, and we are extremely interested in him. For me its a no-brainer.

I really hope we kenton, i think with kenton, p'allen or McFarland or Diante, and 5 star brackins(i love saying that) that would be a top 25 class. Not to shabby for McD's first full recruiting year.

I spoke to Coach Otz briefly this evening. We definitely have the inside track but this one not close to a done deal yet. I think our chances are very good but it may not come as quickly as we would like.

I think that Pitt offering Kenton really impressed him and opened his eyes a little bit as it would any of us. I do think that we have an upper leg on the situation still, but I agree that it's not a done deal by any means. The worst thing that could happen is we become complacent or expect things to happen. I know that TJ would never let that happen in this situation, or any.

A program isn't built on one player and it doesn't succeed because of one player, thus a program won't fail if it doesn't get that one player.
