    Currency Collectors

I was wondering if there was anyone around that knows anything about old foreign paper currency. I recently found some paper money that was brought back during the Korean war and while I am not interested in selling, I was just wondering if there is any monetary value, or if its just a cool piece of history. The money is 10 Hwan and is from the Bank of Korea and all I have found out about it is it is no longer used. So the first place I thought to find help on this subject is Cyclone fanatic. Thanks!

Just a guess, but with Korea splitting in half, that currency probably lost most or all of its value at that time.

At the very least though, it is an interesting piece of history. I have some 20 million mark notes from the 20's when Germany's paper became virtually worthless, and I hold on to it because of the historical value (to me).

Not a currency collector but it probably isn't worth much. Not a very big interest in non-US currency collecting. Take it downtown to Chester's and they can give you some info on it.
