    PC to TV cable?

I'm trying to watch a streaming video from abc.com on my tv. What kind of cable do I need? I have an S-Cable, but there is not a "S" connection on the back of the tv. Would an RGB cable work? I have an LG LCD tv.

    Re: PC to TV cable?

Do you have a VGA input on your tv? It looks like what you would connect your pc or laptop to the computer monitor. It's basically a rhombus with about 9 pins or so. If you need a long vga cable, get one at monoprice.com or somewhere else online.

    Re: PC to TV cable?

VGA cable would be the best option and your LCD tv should have one, as should your computer...

As mentioned above you can go to monoprice.com to get a cable, or wait for a place like mertiline.com to have one of their sales on cables...

    Re: PC to TV cable?

There are three spots in the back for HDMI and one back there that says "RGB In (PC)". Nothing for VGA.

How new? Likely can do mini-display from the MacBook to about any type of connection on your TV.

    Re: PC to TV cable?

Seems like a VGA cable would work just fine...

    Re: PC to TV cable?

You need a male-male VGA cable (assuming computer connection looks the same).

Both ends Male VGA connections. I don't see any reason for HDMI.

    Re: PC to TV cable?

Your mac might have a dvi port. You can get a long dvi cable to connect to your tv. If not, it has a display port which is pretty small. You can get a cable that connects the display port to your hdmi input on your tv.

I would suggest poking around monoprice.com. There are a lot of different options for connecting PCs and converting video inputs. Prices are great and they have quality stuff.
