on the 7th according to Josh Newberg

    Ruben Gonzalez - Yahoo! Sports

And yes, he has (gasp) BCS offers.

He was visiting Louisville, but changed his visit to us.

Also Josh Grady is being visited in home by CPR tomorrow, with Grady's official visit to ISU coming on Friday.

Now that's the kind of big WR I can get excited about.

Interesting. A tall reciever, played qb in high school.

Our staff seems to be really after Josh Grady. Herman visited him in December, and now Rhoads is.

Oh! At first I thought you were referring to Herbert Gonzalez, whom I was just looking at yesterday!
    Herbert Gonzales - Yahoo! Sports
So, two wideouts visiting this weekend, plus Grady, then at least another wideout the next weekend. Looks like CPR is determined to bring another in!

    Paul Rhoads' players never quit.
    (They just disappear offseason)

    Re: Ruben Gonzalez Visiting

Rhoads is visiting Grady's house tomorrow and then Grady is visiting Rhoads house on Friday. Gotta like our odds!

“One day we’ll be in here celebrating a Big 12 championship,” Rhoads said. “That I can promise you.”

"I hope to coach here until I retire," Hoiberg said.

Newberg seems to think he will sign with USF. Hope that's not the case.

I've heard that both of Grady's parents are USF grads. It'll take some Paul Rhoads magic. I believe he can do it.

    Re: Ruben Gonzalez Visiting

IMO, Gonzalez and Gilbert serve the same purpose. I guess throw Babineaux in there too. My wishlist at WR is:

    1. Nealy (I like our chances)
    2. Grady (I really don't like our chances but we will see)
    3. Bundrage
    4. Gilbert
    5. Allen
    6. Babineaux
    7. Gonzalez

3-7, to me, are interchangeable. The one thing that stick out to me is that if we get Gilbert, he can be moved, maybe even to linebacker so I think you take him. The kid looks massive, not to mention he looks like he wants to rip your head off and shove it down your neck. All of them, IMO are outside receivers, Grady and Nealy are not. They aren't itty bitty but they aren't as big as I would like. I still think we need at least one big receiver. Jennert could be the only one on the team next year. By big, I don't necessarily mean physically large. I mean how they play. I look at Justin Blackmon and he's not that big but he plays big.

    Re: Ruben Gonzalez Visiting

we have an obvious need for more talent at the WR position and its great to see so many quality possibilites floating around. we're bound to land one of them you'd think!

..nealy and grady would be great gets. i think both end up as DB's, and would both be VERY good ones.

I hope come signing day we sign at least 1 more wide outs, Nealy, Maggitt, and Grady. Unlikely we get Maggitt, but we are in good shape with Nealy and Grady. Hopefully grady choose ISU over South Florida.

landing all three of nealy, maggitt and grady is a pipe dream... but that'd be a darn good way to cap off an already solid class! i think we'll probably get 1 of the 3, but if CPR could work some magic and land them all, i think this would be up there as one of the better recruiting classes in recent memory

If we get Nealy and Grady I will poop myself. If Maggit comes too, I will poop a chocolate covered squirrel.

Yaman, of the three, which do you think we've got the best shot at? I assume Maggit would be the least likely.
