    Site warnings..adobe popup!!

Anyone else getting the incessant site warnings and adobe load popups on here? Hard to stomach. And every page is very slow to load for me with the animated banners. Getting hard to use. Am I the only one?

    Guys -

All you have to do is update your Adobe player. Here is the link.

Adobe - Install a different version of Adobe Flash Player

There are no security issues with the site. If you upgrade your flash player, all will be well. Thanks.

Kinda stinks for those of us at work without admin rights that can't update flash.

Can't you guys have IT update flash for you? An updated version is good for any computer to have any way. I wouldn't think they would have a problem with an update.

The entire internet is like a Shanghai whorehouse. And a Mac is like an industrial strength condom dipped in penicillin. All problems solved.

    Re: Site warnings..adobe popup!!

I use Chrome + FlashBlock. I don't let Flash run on very many sites.

But if it's on a corporate computer you are out of luck. I'm surprised they let you have Flash or access to CF.

Here's how the asking for persmission conversation will go.

Me: "Um...can I download the Adobe upgrade?"

IT: "Why do you need that?"

Me: "Ummmm, so I can view Cyclone Fanatic at work.

IT: "Yeah, I'll get right on that after I call your manager."

    Re: Site warnings..adobe popup!!

Yeah basically this is killing me at work. I don't have the authority to change this stuff at work. So I am screwed from here on out unless someone can change it on the CF side.

Nobody but HB knows for sure. You pretty much know nothing....like Knownothing would like to say.

Pretty accurate in my situation as well except you forgot the intermediate step where IT asks you for a valid charge number for them to use (this would be before they ask why).
