    Cardinal Baseball

I got tickets for the June 4th Cub Cardinal baseball game. Any nice hotels to stay at in St. Louis that are by the ball park? And how about parking for Saturday and Sunday?

Mmm Baseball Heaven gotta love it! But try the Millennium hotel. I too was looking at plane tickets to St Louis for next summer to go to a Cardinals game for a senior trip before I start college at Iowa State in August.

If you want to experience a tailgate pre-game type atmosphere, South of the stadium on the East side of the street is a converted old brick warehouse that is a huge bar/retaurant. Its packed. Take a side door and go downstairs, has sitdown tables with Sportsbar and seperate bar. They will take your order and you will not have to fight the crowd at the bar. Also has an outside tent set up. We always catch a couple beers and sandwichs here before going in. If you plan on doing a fair amount of drinking and eating iinside the stadium.........take lots of money.

    You talking about Joe Bucks?
The food there is very good..there is also a Hooters if you go straight north from the corner that the Cardinals Pro Shop is on.
    Welcome to J.Buck's.

I agree with ErikBJ the Westin would be my pick. Very nice and great location on the west side of the stadium.

I think we stayed at the Marriot, very close to the ball park. Pretty decent rooms, very nice beddings. It was still 97 degrees at 10 pm after our game, luckily we could crank the AC down to 55 in our room, at least the what the thermometer said.

Al Hrabosky's bar area south of the stadium or Joe Buck's bar/patio north of the stadium...can't go wrong with either. Not much parking directly by the stadium, but if you go 3 or 4 blocks north of the stadium there are a couple parking garages that are $5/game. Never had to wait to get in/out, and a short walk....garage of one of them is directly above Hooters. Also a TGIFriday's nearby.

All the hotels mentioned are hotels Priceline uses. I have used this site and had good results. I like knowing when I bid on Priceline what hotel I might end up in. I used the information from the site and got a 4-star room in KC for $70/night (1/2 off) and in Omaha for $59/night (1/2) off.
