Who are you ashamed to admit you like?

What pro sports figures are you ashamed to admit you like?

    I've got a couple:

Lebron James - yes, he's cocky. But there is a reason he is - the man is an outstanding player. And he did a ton for Cleveland via charity, etc.

Chad Ochocinco - again, super-cocky. But I have to love a guy who was so committed to being a smart*** that he changed his name.

    Who are your votes?

I still like Tiger. At his best he was the most dominant player ever in golf. Plus what is not to like about a guy that can play that many chicks at once without his supermodel wife finding out for so long.

Not ashamed to admit this one but Walter Payton is/was my favorite athelete of all time.

I concur with the LeBron James, although I'm not ashamed to admit it. Sure he's cocky, and sure he left Cleveland in a lurch. But the more I think about it, the lurch was the Cav's owner's own making. The guy was never interested in putting credible talent around him, which means every year LeBron had to win the championship by himself. At least Jordan got to play with Pippen, and when was the last time Kobe Bryant had to win a championship by himself? Yet LeBron got to play with a Shaquille O'Neal at least 5 years past his prime and Zydrunas Ilgauskas - which tells me that the Cav's owner's commitment to win didn't extend any further than his attempts to emotionally blackmail LeBron into staying in Cleveland. I don't blame LeBron at all for leaving Cleveland, and if it weren't for the fact that they were in the same division as the Magic, I'd be rooting even harder for him.

I guess I'm not really ashamed to admit I like anyone sports related. LeBron and Ochocinco I suppose would be controversial choices but I'm not ashamed.

Sweet. But if we are throwing out nicknames, one of my favorites is Vinnie "the microwave" Johnson.

As for athletes I like and am "ashamed" to admit it, I think I might go with Terrell Owens. I don't know that I like him, and at first I hated the stuff he did, but then after a while I saw creativity in it.

I'd have to think on others.

Not exactly a "pro" team but I will through Auburn in there. I have liked them for a while and have been torn with the whole GC thing, but man they are fun to watch.

But just the action figure, right? There's no shame in that.
