    Some GOOD Recruiting News

Looks like Joshua Grady has cut his list down to three and we made it! He has the good guys, South Florida, and Wake Forest as his top three. He is taking a visit to South Florida over the 1/14/11 weekend. It would be very nice to land this guy, especially with he who must not be named decommitting.

He says his best relationship is with Shane Burnham. That has to be a good sign

Yes, indeed. Grady is 6' 1'' and 192 lbs. I wonder what position he would play? Also I love that he has a 3.8 GPA.

    Voldemort decommitted?

I wouldn't get to excited yet. USF looks to be the leader with him visiting. ISU will have no chance unless they get him on campus.

This is what I thought. However, if Burnham is the coach that has the greatest relationship with him we shouldnt have a problem with getting him on campus.

I don't know that for sure. He's an athlete. I have said before that I believe he may have the highest ceiling at QB among the guys we have signed. I still believe that, however, I think he is very raw IMO and it would be at least 2 years before you saw him competing for the job. When I say highest ceiling I mean I think his athletic ability could allow him to be the best. I am also very high on Sam Richardsen and I think Grady would have a lot of ground to make up because of how polished Richardson seems. Having said all of that, I don't think we can afford to leave him on the sideline for that long. We need playmakers on the perimeter and now that Lynn decommitted we do have a whole at corner. If we get Gaines, who would be, IMO, a better option there, I think Grady stays on offense. In terms of right now where the staff is selling him, I don't know but I imagine they are telling him he can start at QB if he wants and go for there. In the end I think he ends up at receiver. The reason being that I believe he is too gifted to sit on and train for 3 years.

Also, right now I would put him #2 in most talented left on the board. He's behind Gaines. Gaines, IMO is also a bigger need. Don't bash me please, I think the staff is on some Dlineman but I have no idea who they are so I can't put them in there.

Yeah, I find it odd that he says that and hasn't scheduled a visit.

I think this is pretty true. Shane needs to get a visit scheduled, preferrably the week before. I don't see a visit for him after USF, but we will see.

I agree 100%. It doesnt seem like the staff is too concerned with the need at Dlineman. I really think English would have been a great addition. I would like to have known what happened there.

For those of us who have been away for Christmas, is there any possibility of filling us in on who decommitted? Or is this going to be one of those stupid games where people know something and hint at it all the time just to prove they know something that others don't?

I would say that Devondrick Nealy and Armonze Daniel(who has just popped up in our interested list on ESPN) are more talented as well.
