    Taumoepeau...

It looks like according to a recent published rivals article he has downgraded us, K-State has now offered, this is disappointing.....

I agree the a hole in Kansas St is at it again. Why the heck can't we get these guys in here. We need d line help. I don't know why they wouldn't want to come here and play right away. Old Synder is a big crook whe it comes to recruiting.

What do you mean by downgraded us? I highly doubt he'll be very impressed by Kstate, and their diaper-wearing coach.

    Re: Taumoepeau...

It was rumored in another forum that we have maybe cooled on him. Can't remember which one it was or I would link it. Take it for what it's worth. Maybe the staff has decided to look harder at the JUCO DEs instead.

Usually when a recruit stops talking about one of his favorites all of a sudden, then usually it is the school that has cooled on the prospect. In Walton's case, since it looked like he would commit in early fall and it didn't happen, I would assume that we moved on. Wouldn't surprise me if they have another DLine prospect in his spot.

Nobody has high interest, we may still have a shot.

It is highly possible that ISU's interest in him decreased if he wasn't able to enroll at ISU in January.

i thought walton was ours to lose.our biggest need is defensive tackles and nose guards. that has been our weakest link in our football team. we have the canadian boy and the kid from des moines that are probably our depth going into next year...
will the boy( believe jenson) from coach rhoad's hometown of ankeny be a budding star on the defensive line be our next outstanding defensive lineman????god i hope so.....we have not had any decent defensive linemen since danny mac went down the tubes with his 4-8 season.why is it hard to recruit interior defensive linemen.people on this board will say frere was a good defensive lineman, but he was to slow afoot to be in anyone's backfield...let us pray that jenson steps up and becomes an all-american during his redshirt freshman year..go cyclones!!!!!!!!
