    Sledding

So I'm going sledding for the first time this year tonight. I'm going with a few buddies and it always gets rowdy. Do you guys have any funny stories about sledding?

I once witnessed a triple aerial cartwheel by a girl that got her legs clipped drunk sledding down the frisbee golf course hill.

    I'll never forget it. Ever.

    Re: Sledding

Last weekend me and 3 other guys hiked through the blizzard all the way out to the Alumni Center, on the hill on the north side. At one point we all went at once and ended up in the ravine, getting our ***** soaked. Overall a fun time

    Re: Sledding

Always liked "straight jacket sledding" (punch a hole in the bottom of a large garbage bag, put your head through it and cover the rest of your body with the rest of the bag (resembling a straight jacket), and throw yourself down the hill) on the Frisbee golf course.

Remember the time I nearly broke my neck sledding down the Annie Wittenmeyer hill in Davenport. It's a decent sized hill with two bumps in it that throw you completely out of control before the hill quickly levels off at the bottom. I was sliding on my backside feet first and one of those bumps turned me 180 degrees. Had I not instinctively tucked my neck at the exact right time I might be sitting in a wheelchair right now.

    Re: Sledding

My brother in law was on a floor in Maple with a bunch of football players, so he hung out with them a lot even though he didn't play. There was one guy on the floor from Texas who had pretty much never seen snow, much less gone sledding. When everyone was getting dressed and ready to go, he noticed people grabbing their "snow pants." He had never heard of "snow pants", and considered himself at a distinct disadvantage for his lack of said "snow pants".

Now someone "cool story bro" me......
