    Re: Ellis Hobbs Story

Some day I hope he has a reason to come back to Ames in a role with the athletic department. He is one of the greatest cyclones ever.

I knew Ellis when he was at ISU and he was the most polite, humble young man you can imagine.

    Re: Ellis Hobbs Story

    Doesn't surprise me one bit.

I ran into Ellis a few times in the College of Design (he was a fine arts major). While, some athletes tend to be a bit stand off-ish He was really friendly an sincere.

I didn't know about his neck injuries. I really hope he can make a comeback and that these injuries dont give him long term problems.

I would love Ellis to come back to ISU in some capacity. I doubt Bobby Elliot will be our D-backs coach for ever. When he decides to move on, I hope we give Ellis a call.

    God bless ya Mr. Hobbs.

I don't do signatures. Blondes, brunettes, and red heads are a different story.

    Re: Ellis Hobbs Story

I saw Ellis a couple months back in October. He's still a very friendly, down to earth guy. A story like this doesn't suprise me about him.

Leaving aside his great and memorable career, Ellis is just a good man. I'm proud that he is associated in some way with my favorite team.
