    No idea. Gonna wait and see who our QB is first.

    That won't happen until next fall...you have a long wait! Actually, we have several who will run the offense efficiently.

    Re: Pre Season Football Predictions...join in

    I really think we finally pick off Iowa. I like our chances against Texas better than against UConn. Out of those 3 games we need 1 win for sure and 2 would be delightful and entirely possible. 3 would be a pipe dream.

    We should beat Kansas and UNI.

    I look for it to come down to the wire once again for us making a bowl game. Probably enter the K-State game at 5-6.

    IMO, it shows a very low regard for our program to say that a 7-5 season is worthy of coach of the year, regardless of the opponents.

    Aren't "we" just a tad early for this thread?
    Can't it wait until at least July before projections are made about the 2011 football team?

    I think we have a great shot at UCONN. If not mentioned somewhere else I'll mention that UCONN only has 4,000 of their required 17,500 tickets sold for their BCS game. As it stands now they could be losing 2.5 Million dollars, and that could hurt their chances to pay off re...I mean uh...yeah, we can beat them.

    Also it's gonna be tough to beat Iowa since we always play on grass and Iowa always feels more comfortable with this...

    Re: Pre Season Football Predictions...join in

    It's insanely early, but after enduring a procastinating stretch of after-work online xmas shopping, I'm up for anything, no matter who starts at QB
    I'll even throw final scores into the mix.
    This is all subject to change in August, of course
    UNI W 27-7
    Iowa L 24-13
    @UConn W 26-21
    Texas L 25-13
    @Baylor W 26-20
    @Missouri L 27-10
    Texas A&M W 24-20
    @Texas Tech L 34-21
    Kansas W 27-17
    @OU L 28-7
    Oklahoma State L 34-24
    @KSU L 21-17
    5-7, 4-5
    Once again, the brutal non-conference slate kills postseason hopes.

    Re: Pre Season Football Predictions...join in

    UNI- W
    Iowa- L for right now. I'm not sure on what they return.
    @Uconn-W They have a nice RB, but I'm not sure if he's returning. I also hope our D is vastly improved.
    Texas-W if Gilbert is still starting, L if they get a competent QB
    @Baylor-W
    Mizzou-W, they return alot, but Rhoads gets his upset.
    A&M-L
    @Tech-L, if we played them at home I think ISU wins it
    KU-W
    @OU-L
    Oklahoma State-L Weeden and Blackmon might leave, but they are becoming a top program
    @KSU-W they have some nice players coming in, but lose Thomas.

    Anywhere from 6-6 to 8-4 depending on Iowa and Texas. This prediction will go up and down before next year.
