How does our class finish up?

Also, I don't believe Sam Ajala is a commit. On twitter he said "I'm not committed to Iowa State" after it originally said he was.

    Re: 20 Commits

I think that they finish out with Nealy, Henderson and Taumoepeau with Everett Pleasant getting a greyshirt offer. If we don't get Nealy, my guess is that they sign Keondrick Daniels or JJ Gaines.

Both Daniels and Gaines would be priority. If they want to come here, they will be here.

He's committed, he just doesn't know he's committed.

If it's a DREAM, I would include Maggit.

    Re: 20 Commits

Unlike everyone else, I am not positive we need a JC DE. I would take any DT, especially a JUCO, before them. I would also take Gaines, Grady, Nealy and Daniels before any DE.

Disagree. Biggest priority right now should be DL. I'd take Filimoeatu and Taumoepeau over Daniels and Gaines, no matter where they're rated.

    Re: 20 Commits

I think we only need one Juco DE. We have coming back

    Lattimer-Sr.
    Neal-Sr.
    Rony Nelson-Jr.
    Maggitt-Jr.
    Willie Scott-So.
    Aaron Moore-So.

Four have proven they can play. Do we really need to add as many of these guys as we can- like a lot are saying.

    At DT we have
    Dutch-Sr.
    McDonough-Jr.
    Laing-Jr. (been very impressive)
    Black-Sr.
    Woods-So.
    Jansen-Fr.

We need a JUCO pretty bad, unless Black or Woods steps up. I would argue we need more infusion of HS talent than going the JUCO route.

Another name to look out for is Bryan Holmes a WR from FL. Rivals has him visiting 1/14/2011.

Hear me out. We have Lattimer, Nelson, Moore, Maggitt and Neal next year. We lose Neal and Lattimer, so then we are still 3 deep. I don't think we need the impact player. I see a glaring hole at safety right now. I have no idea who will step up. I would love to have Gaines there at least to develop. I just hink it's a bigger need right now. We do need a DT. That part is true.

    Re: 20 Commits

Some promising news on Nealy from scout Scout.com: Two visits down for Nealy

"Monticello (FL) Jefferson County High School’s DeVondrick Nealy is not close to making any kind of final decision but he clearly enjoyed his second official visit this past weekend in Ames."
