    I'm kinda surprised at this hire. He seems like a decent coach but I don't think he is the best available by far.

    I think Miami wanted a safe hire that would keep Miami in good academic standing. Golden can do that. Can he win the ACC and compete for NCs? That I don't know.
    Miami seems to want to completely distance itself from the days of "swagger", and I understand that they don't want to be known as Thug U anyumore. But I don't think they will ever get back to the top of college football without some swagger.
