    Ironic...

ESPN runs the 30 on 30 about the SMU Scandal right after Cam accepts the Heisman. Great job ESPN! Love it!

It's crazy. The more things change, the more they stay the same.

I loved Cam's speech. "I just want to thank my mom and dad." Long pause as he holds back tears. "They do so much behind the scenes that people don't know about."

I literally laughed out loud after he said that... I hope the NCAA drops the hammer on him.

That was great!!! He's right people don't know about it....yet.

Watching all the stuff about SMU, it's crazy what they did. I'm guessing ESPN wanted the captive Auburn audience watching the ceremony to get a glimpse of the future

ESPN does subliminal stuff like that all the time, they realize people want the drama bs, not just score updates...personally, i'd be fine with just scores...although i must say I do love the 30 for 30 series

If you only want score updates, there's always ESPNEWS. I'm OK with ESPN proper doing some other stuff. After all, the "E" in ESPN used to stand for "Entertainment."

That's not to say I think all of the other stuff they do is quality. I have enjoyed the 30 for 30 films I've watched, though, including this one.

    Re: Ironic...

I just got done watching the Pony Exce$$ and thought it was terrific. I haven't been able to watch very many of the 30 for 30 films, whether it's due to my work schedule or a lack of interest in my part in some of the subject matter, but every one of them I've seen has been very well done.

Not to bring back bad memories, but can anyone fill me in on what Criner got ISU in trouble for when he was coaching back in the mid-80's?

Kind of like how the "M" in MTV used to stand for "Music."

    And here:

Wow...very illuminating and depressing. I'm glad those days are behind us. Does anyone remember the rationale behind Criner dismissing Henderson?
