Re: Complimentary article from the Rag

You may not know their names or their record before the game. But once you’ve seen them in person, collectively, they’re an awfully hard bunch to forget.
I love this team! See everyone Sunday vs Texas Southern!

The above the mast head "headline" wasn't too great. "ISU bests Iowa, but just barely"

What's not true about that. We won by 3...really 6 if you take off the shot they shouldn't have taken at the end. But the game was back and forth the whole time.

Stoopid register for not allowing me to enjoy my ISU wins. They clearly hate everything about ISU. Damn them.

Funny how, if you read this article its tone the whole way is of an Iowa fan commenting on the game. Isn't he supposed to at least pretend to be an impartial writer?

Re: Complimentary article from the Rag

It really did seem like it was from an Iowa perspective. For example, he is pointing out that it was stupid his team's program (Iowa) was wrong and they shouldn't have done that because it motivated our rival (Iowa State). Then he points out a foul that Iowa should have got and then implied that Fran's anger was legit about how the game was called by the refs.

He might have gotten that call if the defender hadn't slapped at the player while he was trying to draw the charge. I think the official saw that and kind of thought they canceled out so he swallowed his whistle.
