    BB recruiting in-state?

Ok, we saw the post about 2012 recruits, all out of staters. How are we doing on Marcus Paige & Adam Woodbury & such?

I'd be very suprised if Paige didn't end up at Kansas and from what I've heard the staff has cooled greatly on Woodbury.

I bet they have cooled because Woodbury "cooled" first. I guess you cannot get them all.

Do I need to remind you that you're a d-bag or do you face that harrowing realization daily when you look in the mirror?

...and by the way, word has been out for months that ISU has cooled on Woodbury. You're the first I've seen that's suggesting otherwise.

Woodbury never had interest in us. He grew up loving Iowa. He never gave us even the slightest chance, hence why many say we 'cooled' on him. Of course we 'cooled' on a guy that wouldn't return a phone call and showed no interest in attending ISU. Some people get a bit to touchy when it comes to instate guys just not wanting to play for us.

I've never heard anything along those lines, but it may be the case. My only question is, does anyone really care? His evaluations have been dropping like a rock and I doubt he'd be much of a fit for the type of offense that Hoiberg wants to run.

I am not saying the Woodbury doesn't want to play for us, that is probably the case. What I don't understand is why anyone would want to play in an empty Carver Hawkeye for four years? Seriously.

Please post these evaluations that you hae read that have him dropping like a rock. Or a link to them.

    Thanks in advance

Don't over-think it. A lot of SC kids seem to just be programmed that way. Especially ones from Morningside; poor dumb b@st@rds...

Maybe he wants the exposure on the Big Ten network.

the only in-state kid i'd be bummed to lose out on is Jok. Paige seems like a stud, just think we're out of the running....

wonder if paige's opinion on a school like KU/UNC has changed since HB has been nationally criticized after a slow start/struggle...

    Re: BB recruiting in-state?

Actually Mr Perrault said ISU has cooled on Woodbury. It wasn't the other way around. He stated that ISU was nolnonger going after him. ISU felt he did not fit what they were looking for. I have heard that from other people also. Seems there are 2 different stories going around.
