    So, what if Nebraska wins?

As much as I dislike Nebraska, I hate Dan Beebe and his Texas slave masters. If the Big12 had kept their offices in Kansas City instead of moving them to Dallas, Nebraska likely would not be leaving the conference. That move was the beginning of the chain of events that led to Nebraska packing it up for the Big Ten.

So, I can sympathize -- and even agree with -- all the hatred that has been directed toward Dan Beebe by Nebraska fans recently.

I can definitely see NU's argument and let's face it, any team outside of UT and OU would have taken the B10's invite. With all that said, they are now a Big 10 team, and I hate the Big 10.

Nebraska will get a trophy and play in the Fiesta Bowl.

Already discussed, and your link is old and already irrelevant

Ok, Lets play guess who the Troll OP is? husker or hawkeye?

I'm guessing a hawkeye fan who graduated from UI with a art history degree, who can't find a job...

I don't blame Nebraska for leaving, but that doesn't change my view of Nebraska either

Nebraska, Patriots, Lakers, Yankees (etc, etc).

    Nobody likes a winner.

I'd love for ISU to be hated.

Re: So, what if Nebraska wins?

Don't they get more of that buyout penalty back if they make a BCS bowl? I remember some sort of language to that effect in the announcement. If this is the case, that should be the only reason anyone needs to cheer against NU.

Re: So, what if Nebraska wins?

Boil it down to what it is...MONEY. That and knowing that they can't compete with UT and OU long term. They're running away and grabbing the cash. I don't blame them for doing it, but let's not be naive here.

Husker fans can say it's about moving the conference offices or where the title game is played, but that is BS. Dallas IS the logical place for both. It is an actual metroplex, not a bigger Omaha like KC is. Dallas is where the TV sets are and where the recruits are. Husker fans are just trying to justify the move and placing blame.

Besides, if Nebraska would have actually voted for revenue sharing, maybe the other North teams would have voted along with them on matters that they cared about. They were all about money then and they are now. Like I said, I don't blame them for it, but there's no need to sugarcoat things.

Well fortunately, even in a down year for the B12 South, Nebraska can't hang.

Hopefully they fair better in the B10.

I'm not sure what this has to do with the OP?
