    Re: Breakdown Nebraska for me

Load the box and cover the TE, make them drive the length of the field. If Green and whoever their receivers are beat you passing, then so be it, you should be wiling to take that risk. Don't turn the ball over or give them a short field. If you guys can get some quick 3 and outs, then finish with TD's, their vaunted defense should be running all over trying to keep up with your offense and get gassed. Once down, I wouldn't say their offense is suited for making big comebacks.

Nebraska is definitely a solid team, but by no means anything special. If your O is clicking, no one in the country should be able to stop you, not even NU. I trust that your D will be up to the challenge in shutting down Helu/Burkhead.

    Re: Breakdown Nebraska for me

If T Magic doesn't play, I can't see Nebraska lining up and running it over OU. They struggled to do that against us and we certainly don't have OU athletes on defense. Nebraska is more than capable of winning if T Magic played but if he doesn't, OU will take care of business in a moderately low scoring game.

    24-14 or something like that.

Unfortunately for you, Niles Paul is injured. He is a fumble, dropped pass, etc. away from changing the game in your favor.

Control Burkhead and the game will be over. Zac Lee can be rushed and Cody Greene is not much of a passer.

    Re: Breakdown Nebraska for me

OU will have no problem throwing the ball around on the Huskers, expect to see a lot of the same formation that you guys used last week with 3 guys in the backfield and the WR with 1 on 1 match ups. I'm not sure what its called but it got a lot of attention last week. But to me this one comes down to the running game. If OU is able to get even a little going on the ground I don't think the Huskers have enough to keep up because I don't see OU giving much up on the ground.

If you don't try to run on them all day long, your OC should be fired. Their run defense is not good but their pass defense is great. Pound the ball, pund the ball, pund the ball.

8 in the box and make whoever plays QB beat you passsing the ball. Their WRs are average at best and can't egt off the line. whatever you do, don't give up the big play.

So in other words, it is a good old fashioned...run the ball and stop the run type of game.

Nebrasak has a good sized metro area in Omaha but a large part of that is a crime filled ********. Next to that they have a decent town called Lincoln but it is inhabited by a bunch of ignoratn slobs that wear an obnoxious red all year.

Out side of those two areas, the rest of the state is grounds for a large inbreeding group called husker fans. This group's life revolves around growing irrigated corn, raising/breeding cattle and cheering for a football team 13 times a year. The women a large and boisterous, with large hips for breeding purposes. They can wrestle a heifer down to the ground. They are not good to look at.

The western half of the state is a complete wasteland except for a couple very nice golf courses that er literaly in th emiddle of nowhere. If you are a tumbleweed, it is is a good place to live as you can roll for hundereds of miles without seeing water or a fence.

Since Nebraska changed their starting safeties (5 games ago) they are only giving up 120 ypg on the ground which would be 2nd in the conference (as opposed to 6th right now).

Mizzou doesn't run the ball at all, ISU did okay on the ground against you and we are not a good running team, KU sucks, and CU was out of gas. Okie St ran on you. In short, you played one team that doesn't run the ball and three of the worst teams in the league. I would expect your run defense to do better

OU has a better running game than all of those guys. If OU doesn't start off trying to run the ball, they are idiots.
