People have been paying with paper money and plastic credit cards for years at the Mars Café. On Wednesday, Nathan Wright was trying a new method, using his iPhone.
"This is the application on my iPhone," Wright said.
He downloaded the app to his phone from Dwolla's website. It's now connected to his checking account and he can use his phone much like a debit card.
"I can also send money to someone," Wright said. "So if I wanted to send money to Mike Templeton, I would choose him and then I would be able to put in my PIN number and the amount of money I want to send him."
I don't do signatures. Blondes, brunettes, and red heads are a different story.
