    More Bubu Palo?

I think I would have liked to see Bubu play more tonight to spell DG. Obviously hindsight is 20/20, but I think Bubu is better at distributing the ball. He penetrates well, but then is better at finding the open man versus throwing up wild shots like DG does at times IMO.

DG penetrates very well, but then ends up forcing a stupid shot or cannot finish at the rim.

    Thoughts?

Disagree, without DG we would have been screwed

I don't think Bubu finishes well at the rim either

Disagree. DG missed a lot of open shots from 12-15 feet. Those are shots that have to fall for this team to be successful. He is rarely out of control.

    Re: More Bubu Palo?

We missed open shots. We didn't rebound worth a ****. I don't know that Bubu solves either problem. We'll shoot better than we did tonight and we'll win games by 15-20. But when you take as many three point shots as we do, and don't rebound well, there are going to be clunker games.

There will be nights when the ball won't go in the hoop. And we can't melt down or use the tired 'blame the refs' excuse (and they were not the problem tonight). We're not a great team. We're a well-coached team. Big difference between the two.

I would say less Palo but that's just me. I'm not a big fan.

(cue Carl Weathers in B-Lite ads) HERE WE GO!

Its some crazy inalienable right to react to a loss by saying "we should bring (insert player x here) in more because he does (insert thing they probably don't do as well - but since they didn't play much...well you get it) better than (insert current player who may or may not have had a bad game).

Again. Its the right of fans. I find that sarcasm helps me avoid melting down on these meltdowners. Arr!

    Re: More Bubu Palo?

I would really like to see Bubu play more. He is one of if not the best on ball defenders we have on our team. He really seems to fluster other guards with his pressure. He might not add a lot offensively but he sure brings a lot to the defensive end.

    Re: More Bubu Palo?

Bubu is really solid on the defensive end. Down the stretch though, you need DG in there. He is the leader, we are going to live and die with him. Tonight we died, next time we could live.

    Re: More Bubu Palo?

Bubu Palo isn't a 10+ minute guy for a reason. he isn't that good. Can give you a couple defensive minutes, but that is it. If he is playing more than that we are screwed for the rest of the year.

The one constant through all the years, Ray, has been baseball. America has rolled by like an army of steamrollers. It has been erased like a blackboard, rebuilt and erased again. But baseball has marked the time. This field, this game: it's a part of our past, Ray. It reminds of us of all that once was good and it could be again. Oh... people will come Ray. People will most definitely come.

    Re: More Bubu Palo?

DG continuously left those short jumpers in the lane short.
Maybe a little more rest and they go in.

    Re: More Bubu Palo?

Gotta have DG in there. I just wish he would penetrate to the bucket more often. When he does, it almost always gives us great scoring opportunities. He has definitely been shooting the outside shot better, but his dribble drive is pretty tough to defend.

Bubu's drive to the lane and throwing up a terrible shot that was blocked yesterday causes me to disagree with you.

    Re: More Bubu Palo?

palo has a bad habit of driving to the rim fast, followed by the ball bouncing off the backboard fast, never touching the rim
