    Good Loss

    ...because it was so frustrating.

This will be a good time for Fred and the staff to make a point about rebounding, foul shooting etc. Motivate the boys to be able to adjust.

Also, we learned we are in trouble in a ticky tack called game...

Understatement of the century. That was called as if it were Girl's Basketball, not Men's Basketball.

I hope the team responds well. We haven't in the past. Can Fred rally the troops?

    Re: Good Loss

    No such thing.

Hilton Coliseum was specifically built to hold in sound with a solid concrete structure, steel doors, and a crowd that sits just a few feet from the court. With a fan base that frequently ranks among the nations largest crowds, players from opposing teams, as well as Iowa State, have said that the floor has shaken due to the loudness of the crowd

He can now point to this game to show the team that even the most un-athletic team in the country can beat you if you don't show up.

Agree. The rebounding was not good at all. I was surprised to see that we had 4 offensive rebounds. It seemed like we had the GMac "everybody-around-the-perimeter" positioning going when a shot went up all night.
