    Colorado's Coaching Search

This is the first I have read it...but I think this writer has to be delusional! Colorado doesn't really think it can get Les Miles does it? I know he his not loved at LSU but no way would he leave LSU for CU...would he? Quoted from the article:

Calhoun, sources said, wouldn't enter discussions with Colorado. Air Force spokesman Troy Garnhart said, "I talked to Coach and he said he would not address it in any way."
The loss of Calhoun is a huge blow to Colorado. He was believed to be its No. 1 target if it can't lure Les Miles away from Louisiana State.

    Re: Colorado's Coaching Search

CU has some major identity issues. Their reach far exceeds their grasp. This isn't a premier program anymore and they don't the financial resources to lure a top coach from another university.

If Les Miles leaves LSU, it will be because he is fired, not because he wants the CU gig. CU can't afford to out bid LSU. Period.

There is another name that is rumored to be interested in the CU job...Houston Nutt. I guess he doesn't get along real well with the AD at Ole Miss and isn't happy with the facilities down there either.

Thank God Cu is going to the Pac-whatever. I couldn't stand Nutt as a Razorback so I definitely don't want to put up with him in this league.

Never argue with an idiot. They will bring you down to their level and then beat you with experience.

Houston Nutt puts his name out there for about every single D-1 job that comes open. I think Colorado ends up going for Bienemy. He's young, cheap and he'll bring some energy back to the program.

CU's interim head coach was 2-1. Not too shabby...

I'm probably wrong, but I think Bienemy would be a bad choice. For them to get serious with their football program, they need to find a proven head coach, IMO.

How about Gruden? wait, he has been taken. Bobby Bowden? No, he is too old. Dan? No, he went Texas. Who is left? Dave McCartney?
