    Ben Franklin's Euphemisms for "Drunk"

Ben Franklin once compiled over 220 synonyms for "drunk". What an awesome patriot.

    Who says history is boring...?

    The Writings of Benjamin Franklin, Volume II: Philadelphia, 1726 - 1757 -- Pennsylvania Gazette, 1736 - 1737

I kind of like "Crump Footed" and "Pungey". I will definitely be working these into my vernacular.

Franklin was a drunk and skirt chaser. He also tried to be a polygamist (sp?) with some old skirt in Paris. He had asked her to marry several times.

    100% win.

    Crump Footed.

While on live TV, Ford used a vulgar term to describe a private part of the female anatomy, adding that he was “happily married” and “got more than enough to eat at home.”

    Fan of "Cherubimical".

Chuck Lidell: I paint my toenails with pink and black polish. Problem is, I get more paint on my toes and on the carpet than on my nails. Any advice?

Is it likely today that he would be listed somewhere on 'the spectrum' in the neighborhood of Asperger's? or just a crazy old white dude? Wasn't his IQ estimated around 160?

Re: Ben Franklin's Euphemisms for "Drunk"

Is it just me, or do some of these appear to be a euphemism for something other than getting sloshed? Some of them appear somewhat naughty.

Female nurse: "Why do you turn everything I say into a double entendre?"

The Todd: "I'd like to double your entendre."

"Me not winning isn't important. You do!"

Impossible for Ben to be that smart. To wit: no where on that list is "Podolacked"

A lot of those sound like something Abe Simpson would say.

They say country music speaks to the heart. Unfortunately, it has to go through your ears to get there.
