    Brackins to the D-League

Really unfortunate he got traded to the 76ers who have a ton of guys ahead of him in the lineup. He could be seeing 10-15 minutes on New Orleans right now, imo. The D League could do him some good though.

I love Craig don't get me wrong, but he just doesn't have the game to be an nba player. At least he will be seeing some game action in the D-league. Not sure that he would be seeing anymore time in NO, Cole Aldrich also got move to the D-league.

Couldn't disagree more. The League always has a place for athletic 6'10" guys who can stretch the floor. IMO, Craig's upside is that of a David West or an Al Harrington.

    Re: Brackins to the D-League

I'm pretty sure this is old news. When the season began the 76ers said they would treat this like a red shirt year for him. He deffinately needs to add some muscle and a much needed defensive game.... In the preseason he didn't have too hard of a time scoring... He fed the ball out a lot, but his defense was horrible. D-leauge is better than the bench... and plus he's still gonna make his 1.3 mil$

Completely disagree.... He will be a great 6-man in the NBA before he gets done.... to me he is a 10/10 a night guy.... And a really hard worker....

exactly, if he can extend his range to NBA 3 Point land, then he will play a long, long time in the league - he's athletic and can shoot - many less athletic players that could shoot played in the league a long time as well. Matt Bullard comes to mind. Don't give up on Craig just yet, he will be there in the end

I hope your right. But for now D-league is a lot better than sitting on the bench.

This is why it is very important to get in the first round. He can work on his game but still gets paid.

I don't think he'll ever average close to 10 boards a night. Look at Dwight Howard, one of the best defenders and rebounders in the league. He plays 35 minutes a night and gets 12 boards. Do you really see CB on a regular basis getting over 30 minutes a night and rebounding at the same pace Howard does? Especially when you consider he would have to fight people like Howard for those boards, seems really, really unlikely. CB's rebounding != Reggie Evans.

As for scoring, 10 points a game isn't as unreasonable, but I think he'd have to play over 25 minutes a night to have a good chance at that.

I could be wrong, but saying "He just doesn't have the game to be an nba player" and "I think that he belongs in the NBA" doesn't quite seem to mesh...

If he's in DSM for a game, I think I'd check into tickets for that game. It would be fun.
