    South end zone alternative

We would all love to see a slick, architectural, double decked south end zone but since we are a long way from filling those seats, why not do it on the cheap? Significantly expand the bleachers, add permanent restrooms and concessions, and regrade the NE and NW hillsides to bring those areas closer to the field. Move the student section and band to the south end zone. They will have the best view of the new scoreboard and it a make tough place for the opposition to score.

Somehow bring the Jacobsen building closer to the field and expand the north bleachers somewhat. Sell those tickets cheap.

Not the ideal solution but I bet it could be done for $5-7M tops.

Nevada has a beefy end zone bleacher set up:

    Mackay

Or we could just bowl in the bottom. Hopefully gain a larger fanbase with wins in the near future. And once the demand for more seats is there, add another level in the south.

Or, we could just flatten the south endzone, and set it up with mobile chairs. That would be sweeeeeet.

I vote we create an entire endzone filled with hot tubs on different height levels. (same ultimate height as current endzone plan, just wider platforms and bigger drops between levels)

I vote for the idea shown in my picture, but minus the text. It would cost too much to install the letters.

Also, for the record, I have seen high school stadiums that are more professional looking than nevada's stadium. You do realize it only seats 29,000?

    Re: South end zone alternative

still think a good idea is "bowling' in the north endzone with the new football only facilities on each side of the jacobsen. no seats-just wings on each side to close that all off. combined with the new video, i think it would look sweet. move the north hillsiders to the south, or upper deck corners that aren't being used for a lot of games now.

Any money that is spent should be spent based on what CPR wants period end of discussion.

    Exactly.

Seriously? Moving the student section and band doesn't accomplish much other than complicating the band. Yeah it would make it hard to score on that side but it's hard to score now on the north side. Also you can't just "bring the jacobson building closer" it does't work like that.
