Chizik could be next HC at Texas...

I assume Mac Brown will survive this year, but with another average season, Chizik might get the chance to take the premier job in the country, Texas. Would not surprise me at all.

I thought Muschamp was next? IMO Gene has as good of a chance as Greg Davis to be the next Texas HC.

Brown isn't going to be leaving if he has another mediocre. No chance. And even if he did, Muschamp is next in line. The only way the cheesestick would be HC at Texas would be if he didn't leave for ISU when he was the DC for Texas.

Why would he leave Auburn if this is his "dream job"?

You know that famous picture of Charlton Heston with the rifle when he became the NRA President, and he said that they would take it "from his cold, dead hands?"

Chizik should have one of those taken with a military entrenching tool.

Texas is a premier job as well as Auburn. He will never leave Auburn on his own accord.

I wish everyone would stop being ****** at Chizik. If he doesn't take that job, we do not have Paul Rhoads and who knows where the program would be right now. Chizik was a horrible fit at ISU. It worked out better for everyone in the end. Everyone should be thanking him for leaving.

Thats a ******** reason. Just because we got PR doesnt mean Chizik is automatically forgiven. Chizik didnt give a **** about what happened to ISU after he left. Hell, judging by how he ran his mouth to other coaches about how he felt about being at ISU (that led to the 'firmly entrenched' comment) he didnt give a **** about ISU while he was here.
