    Remix Y'all

A discussion we actually got into here at work and thought it could make for good conversation on this site. Which song that has been re-covered is the best compared to the original. Example, Jimi's "Along the Watchtower" compared to Dylan's.

Prince's "Little Nikki" was much better when done by Foo Fighters.

Knocking on Heaven's Door by Dylan was a fine song in its own right. GNR took a good song and made it great.

Britney's "Satisfaction" = better than the Stones.

    Re: Remix Y'all

Not sure if this applies here, because BOTH versions make for one of my favorite songs, but they are completely different:

Radiohead's "High and Dry" and the jazz version covered by Jamie Cullum.

Side note: you guys listen to too hard of music! Judging by the genres thrown out here, I doubt anybody listens to the same stuff I listen to.

"Live and Let die" by GNR is better than the Paul McCartney version in my opinion.

Nirvana > David Bowie on "man who sold the world." ??? Maybe, not sure on that one. They both rock.
