    Big 12 Officiating

    http://www.omaha.com/article/20101123/BIGRED/311239928

Whats up all, just thought this article is great in explaining the corruption of Big 12 Officiating.

Nebraska Texas A&M (average 8.7 penalties a game)

    16 Penalties - 145 yards 2 Penalties - 10 yards

If any of you watched the game. The worst call of the night came with the game tied with 6:05 min. remaining in the 4th. A&M had the ball 3rd and 11.. You be the judge:

    Re: Big 12 Officiating

Nebbies been penalized at the same rate this year as the 1st 2 under Bo-FACT

perhaps their oponents have been penalized less, but honestly, i don't give a damn-go cry about it with your other husker fans-good luck getting sympathy on a rivals board.

    Re: Big 12 Officiating

That one call in the nebraska game may have been bad. But nebraska has gotten so many calls given to them or they get the benefit of the doubt on other calls throughout the years, that i dont think anyone is ever going to feel sorry for them. Unless you can come and say they didnt deserve those 16 penalties, maybe you need to be talking to Bo and Carl about how they can coach their team to play differently so they get penalized less.

    Re: Big 12 Officiating

Looks like he hit the QB with his helmet first...that's automatically roughing the passer. If it's close, the officials are told to error on the side of it being a roughing call. I don't understand the outrage at that play.

    Re: Big 12 Officiating

Saturday's officiating crew — referee Greg Burks, umpire Scott Campbell, linesman George Gusman, line judge Kevin Mar, back judge Shawn Hochuli, field judge Nick Lave and side judge Gene Semko — has now called three NU games: Texas A&M, Iowa State and Texas. That seven-man group has whistled 32 total penalties on Nebraska and nine on the Huskers' opponents.
Apparently they didn't do their job well enough for the ISU game...

Sorry, but that was a personal foul. He put his helmet down. If that was the "worst" call of the night, then you don't have much to complain about. Not that it will keep you from doing so.

P.S. We already talked about the worst "missed call" of the night regarding the Cotton balls.

    Re: Big 12 Officiating

You don't care that the officials that decide YOUR games are corrupt?!

This game was called with the agenda of Dan Beebe and the state of Texas, if you don't care about that, you're ignorant.

I'd feel bad for you if you were any team other than Nebraska, and if ISU hadn't been jobbed by the refs so many times. It happens. Nebraska fans just whine about it more than anyone else.

Any ref that helps Neb lose this year is doing their job. Try posting this stuff on another board....maybe start with Big 10 teams? We don't care.
