    Like many Husker fans, Nebraska defensive end Eric Martin's Facebook status said the referees in Saturday's game "suck."
    Posts made on the Facebook profiles of Martin and NU wide receiver Tim Marlowe called the officials in Saturday's game "soft" and accused them of incompetence.
    While Martin and Marlowe weren't alone among University of Nebraska-Lincoln students in their spirited status updates, the pair might have violated conference rules with their posts.

    I guess, if cu wins they take up a bowl spot too, not that going at 5-7 is likely anyhow, but it's one of the teams we need to lose for that.

    Kind of ridiculous that something like a facebook status would get you suspended. To me that is kind of like getting suspended for telling your friends, in person, that you didn't think the refs were good.

    I agree. I don't like the neb's, but give them a little kick in the pants for that but don't suspend them because alot of times the refs do suck.Really their coach is an *******

    Omaha TV is reporting that Niles Paul, receiver, suffered an ankle injury in practice yesterday and will not play in the Colorado game. If you're betting on the outcome, subtract 6 for the Huskers. They've got other receivers and return men, but, I think Paul is the best.

    If this were any other program, I'd be surprised the players came out and said this. Usually players take accountability, but not at Nowledge U.

    If you have to blame the officials, you didn't play well enough to win. Go shove it in your pie-holes, Huskers.

    There isn't a player in college football worth 6 points to the spread. When it was rumored that Cam Newton might not play v Georgia a couple weeks ago the spread went from Aub -9 to Aub -7. Niles Paul MIGHT be worth a half point, but probably not even that in the eyes of Vegas.
