    Internet Explorer vs. Firefox

I've had nothing but issues with IE. It loads slow, stops running, and simply just craps out from time to time. I've gotten on the latest updates. I have yet to be able to figure out what the problem is with IE. It frustrates the heck out of me though.

I went and downloaded Mozilla Firefox.

It is 10X better than IE! I don't have ANY of the problems. I'm not sure what about Firefox makes it better. But one would think that a Windows based computer would run much better with IE.

Anyway, thought I'd pass this info along in case anyone else is looking for an alternative to IE.

Has anyone here experienced any negative aspects of Firefox that made them go back to using IE? Just wondering.

    Thanks!

I've used Firefox exclusively for 3+ years. I'll never go back to IE.

    Re: Internet Explorer vs. Firefox

I have encountered one website (Microsoft adcenter) that would not let me log in with firefox, but would with IE. I keep both on the computer, but primarily use firefox.

    Re: Internet Explorer vs. Firefox

    Welcome to 2005.

I have used Firefox exclusively basically since then. Tried Google Chrome - just wasn't a fan. And about the only time I ever IE now is for work internet applications that require IE use or checking if webpages I have designed are compatible with IE for those that haven't seen the light and are still using it.

I think this is what I will be doing as well. I can't believe the difference is so great in terms of performance.
