Sure, especially if you liked losing. Worst basketball coach in conference play in ISU history.

Quick, see how Wesley Johnson or Justin Hamilton or Lucca Staiger or Dody Dunson or Corey Johnson feel about Greg. Would they be all hugging it out too?

Seems for every JVDB there are about 4 or 5 guys that would tell Greg to get lost.

I wouldn't. That many players can't all be wrong.

I have no doubts, as much as it pains me to think it, that the three who stayed would have gone if they had the eligibility to do so. Very few programs have a vacancy for a one-year transfer.

Except for ours, and we are really lucky to have Jake Anderson.

Since we are an elite team now, let's go get that One Cyclone Moment.

I have nothing against him either. I think that he was a good man, and a good coach. Just not the style of coach that can be successful at a bigger school. I was always puling for him to get over that hump but it was apparent that he couldn't do it here. And really now look at where we are at!!! Without him and now getting to have the mayor back coaching here is just the best. I know it is early but I think we finally can maybe start to see over that hill and then going into next year. It's been a long time for me to feel this good about the future. Both for whatever we can get this year and the years to come.

Just what you should look for in a D1 coach. A soft caring demeanor during post game handshakes. I hear John Wooden perfected this before he started winning titles.

Nothing to see here mods. Keep moving.

I would not play for him. Well I would but then I would transfer after a year.

Chuck Lidell: I paint my toenails with pink and black polish. Problem is, I get more paint on my toes and on the carpet than on my nails. Any advice?
Maria Sharapova: Don't you beat up other guys for a living? I don't know how to answer this.

You are right. Big 12 athletes don't want to run plays and be team players....FH freelance game will work though I don't care for it as a basketball purist.

I've never met him, but McDermott seems like a good man. Unfortunately, your job depends on performance, and he simply didn't get it done here. I wish him well at Creighton though (just not yesterday).

Greg, I'm sorry you lost, but we've moved on and you should too. Shouldn't you be watching game film or something now?
