    Football games at Wrigley Field

The location of today's Northwestern and Illinois NCAA football game was Wrigley Field.

The East End zone was declared off-limits because there were concerns that the players would run into the brick wall. As a result both offenses drove towards the same end zone.

Likely will never happen again after the P.R. nightmare this week.

Yeah, I can't see it happening again. Wrigley is such a small ballpark, and it's really not built to accommodate other venues. Hockey worked great, but football... not so much.

Plus, who wants to play football with 1 endzone?

I would be ****** if I payed $80 dollars for a football ticket on the 25 yard line and they decided to play all the football on the other end of the field. Barring any major reconfigurations of the field (unlikely) that was the last football game ever to be played in that ballpark.
