Harrison Barnes will not be ready for NBA after this year

Needs to bulk up with his 6 ft 7 in body as has troubles scoring down low with bigger players...

He will be at UNC for 3 years then go pro in my personal opinion...

Re: Harrison Barnes will not be ready for NBA after this year

Tonight is the third time I've seen him this season, and he has his moments, but there's a lot of times where he just seems to coast and look a little sluggish. I don't know that's he accepted yet how hard he needs to play at this level.

He's an outstanding talent and will be a top five pick if he declares, but I think he has a lot to work on and Roy needs to demand more out of him.

To be completely honest, I've kind of seen the same thing out of Ejim. Definitely not comparing the two, but both could pick up the intensity a little.

I don't think he's going pro after this year, the uncertainty with the looming lockout will have a lot of freshman sticking around for another year.

Roy is incapable of developing talent. Terrible coach who has benefited by the name of the school he has coached at.

What did Miles Simon say about Ames Iowa at halftime?

I flipped over to UT-Pitt. Did he say something critical?

Probably something like "Tough break for the Hawkeyes to see him leave the state."

He said something like, "It's a little bit tougher than playing in Ames, IA."

Roy's job isn't to develop talent, it's to win basketball games, conferences, and national titles. He's done all that, numerous times, been national coach of the year, and is in the basketball hall of fame. But wait, he's a bad coach

But that's true of the whole UNC team - it's like a catch and shoot offense, and the players seem to just lope around.
HB responds to what the coach demands of him. If he played for a team with more physical toughness and intensity - like Pitt, Michigan State, Purdue, K-State, Kentucky, or Duke - he would be a different player.

Plus he wants to get an UNC business degree.

Um yes it is his job to develope talent. What player has he made better? And he should have won a couple of titles at KU but he cant coach his way out of a wet paper bag.
