    Class A Championship Game

Boerm is an impressive play maker for N Tama.
6 foot 175# seems like one of those former QBs Iowa fills their roster with.
Watching him I kept thinking he could make a nice Safety or Slot Receiver.
Really a hard nosed kid with talent.

He certainly knew how to find the endzone today! 2 rushing TD's, 2 passing TD's, and 2 receiving TD's along with 100+ yards rusing, 100+ yards, passing, 100+ yards receiving, and nearly 100 yards in returns.

    What an amazing game today!

AS great as he has been....I'm sorry but he is not D1 talent.

He would be a good fit for UNI.. or I know that Wartburg wants him .

Excessive intake of alcohol, we all know, kills brain cells, but naturally it attacks the slowest and weakest brain cells first. In this way regular consumption of beer eliminates the weaker brain cells, making the brain a faster and more efficient machine. That's why you always feel smarter after a few beers.

i was kinda hoping Madrid would win. They've been so close for a few years now. Not saying NT didn't deserve it though.

    No, the truth is easy.
What's painfull is listening to all you recruiting expets.

You should go back and look at the threads on Jeff Woody.

Well..unlike you, I played for Iowa State and know what it takes to play at a
    D-1 level.

I like Boerm ...and his brother,too!...I just dont think either one can help
a D1 program like ISU get over the hump. There are dozens of kids like him
that show up in the HS playoffs. They are a great fit for UNI or Drake or
    Coe or ect.....
To get over the hump...Iowa State needs better athletes.
No disrespect meant to the kids that wont make it.
I'm just saying that we need to set our priority prospects just as high as the other Big 12 schools.

I'm sorry, but did you just put UNI in the same category as Drake and Coe? Thats like saying: Alabama, or Dartmouth, or Luther or etc...

The kid is obviously an athlete. If he's got the work ethic, he can make it happen anywhere. I'm sure people said similar things about Jesse Smith and Jake Williams.

Woody was a walkon that took his opportunity to prove himself and earned a scholy. If we could get these kids as walkons that would be great.

So you played for Jim Walden in 1991? My guess is that you have far less athletic talent than Boerm. The Walden teams were not at the D1 level so your comment is laughable. The best receiver I can remember playing for ISU was Lane Danielsen, a kid from Dike who no one else wanted. But he was the fastest player at ISU for his 4 years, and had some of the best big plays I can remember.

ISU may not want him, but the Rhoads teams are far ahead of the teams you played on. The UNI teams you make fun of were far better than ISU when you played.

Do you think the Bosen kid from Dowling could find his way onto the Cyclone team?
