chemistry test before thanksgiving, thank you professor with no soul

So i have a chemistry midterm in about 25 minutes, all my friends have been done since noon today, but my professor thought itd be cool to have a chemistry midterm at 530 on a friday the day thanksgiving break starts.
    Starting to hate my major

Does anyone else have any college day stories like these to help me feel better.

Very true i am extremely fortunate to be in college and love college, but come on anyone would feel like crap taking a chemistry exam at 530 on a friday night..

CycloneErik--are you a graduate student? Ive never heard of that before, i'd assume you are, sorry if im incorrect but most undergrads go home for break, along with grad students correct?

Yeah, I am. Most leave. I live here anyway and went back to school with a fortuitous work situation.

I sent my e-mail to schedule with him. If he doesn't respond, I don't care.

There's no reason to have an exam tonight. That's just wrong.

Re: chemistry test before thanksgiving, thank you professor with no soul

I had a test scheduled for Monday of T-week and skipped class the two weeks prior only to find out when I showed up for the test on Monday that the professor moved it to Friday so people could leave early. Re-took that class

Having a test at 5:30 on a friday stinks period. Doesn't even need to be before break. Doesn't your professor know that cuts into people's FAC time?

cycloneErik---exactly it is wrong! but everyone is saying be lucky that your in college, well i guarantee anyone would feel lucky in college but not lucky taking a huge midterm the last two hours before break starts, im sitting in the chemistry building last minute cramming and i see all the faculty walking out early, gah...

That would be a grad student, though they might not grade them tonight, out of a desire to have a life of some sort.

Good luck on this thing! Hopefully, you've got it all under control.

Wow. **** of a professor. Limits options for those that mightve wanted to fly out friday night, likely forces a saturday flight.
