Wow, did Matt pay attention to the last 5 years of ISU MBB at all!?

[Comment From CY Wineguy CY Wineguy: ]
What do you think is the Best trait that Coach McDermmott brings to CU Basketball?

A great ability to teach post players. Creighton has 2 of the best in the MVC ... probably the 2 best in the MVC. He also is a hell of a recruiter and gets the new world we live in. Coach Altman was stuck in 1990 with a lot of things ... Coach Mac knows how to relate to players better than Altman did at CU

While on live TV, Ford used a vulgar term to describe a private part of the female anatomy, adding that he was “happily married” and “got more than enough to eat at home.”

According to Matt, guys go to Creighton for an education, but they just go to Iowa State to play basketball.

That guy is a festering anal sore.

Oh wow. That has to be one of the most stupid things Giggles has ever said. Should we ask Mike Taylor, Wes Johnson, Cory Johnson, Justin Hamilton, Lucca Steiger, Doddy Dunson, Wes Eikemeir, Dominic Buckly just to name a few?

    Re: Creighton chat

I remember when Matt P. and Walters got into it. Matt was saying that Freddie would not have been offered anywhere else (which may be true) but in reality who else would have hired Mcdermott? That made me so mad that day, when all of sudden Mcd became a great coach according to Matt. No one else in the nation besides Creighton would have hired Greg.

    Re: Creighton chat

Matt P is talking out of the other side of his mouth now that McD is at Creighton. I do actually agree with the fact that he seems to be able to relate to the players that are typically in the MVC. Like it or not the attitudes and work ethics of most of the MVC players is different than in big time college BB. The MVC kids generally stay around for 4-5 yrs and put in the effort to be a TEAM player.

This all being said I hope that ISU throttles Creighton this weekend as badly or worse than they did Drake and we will see how much he talks about that on his show on Monday.

“It’s beyond pride. It’s a restored trust. There’s a confidence again, a passion that teeters on swagger. More than anything, (Iowa State head coach Paul Rhoads) has restored the Iowa State “it” factor, the steadfast belief that it is great to be a Cyclone...the man’s enthusiasm is genuine to the core...”

I think this snippet is pretty funny.......
Players are better at understanding a system of sets at the MVC level. It's how they are taught in high school to play .... Big 12 players don't want to learn 50 plays or 100 ... Creighton kids are fine with it.

No kidding, what's a "Creighton kid?" Does P'Allen Stinnet count as a "Creighton kid?"

He also stated that Creighton is starting a true freshman while ISU is experience laden... See now i have been to all the ISU games and am pretty sure Ejim starts.

Shouldn't the Creighton players be focusing on their Education?!? They don't have the time to learn all those plays with all their school work! Someone should alert the Dean of Academics at Creighton immediately. I mean, for ******'s sake, if they went to school to just play basketball, they would've gone to the Big 12!

Hilton Coliseum was specifically built to hold in sound with a solid concrete structure, steel doors, and a crowd that sits just a few feet from the court. With a fan base that frequently ranks among the nations largest crowds, players from opposing teams, as well as Iowa State, have said that the floor has shaken due to the loudness of the crowd
