    Creighton's Roster

    30 Young,Antoine
    03 McDermott,Doug
    25 Lawson Jr.,Kenny
    23 Runnels,Wayne
    24 Ashford,Darryl
    12 Manigat,Jahenns
    15 Korver,Kaleb
    05 Jones,Josh
    32 Harriman,Casey

They will typically play the top 8 men, names in Blue are thier core players. Lawson will be our first real test at a big man, (I thought VanDeest was going to be as well.)

How many of those guys will be left after Mass Exodus Creighton - Season 1?

Doug. After that, it's hard to tell.

Since we are an elite team now, let's go get that One Cyclone Moment.
Make this one for the ages!

    Re: Creighton's Roster

From a "look test" point of view, these guys probably won't be good this year. Definitely not an athletic team, but that plays into the hands of their coach. He doesn't have to recruit athletes if they walk the ball up the court and only score 45 points a game. Creighton fans have grown accustomed to full-court presses and running. They will grow tired of McDermott very soon. Lawson might be tough to contain.

    Re: Creighton's Roster

A Creighton season ticket holder that I work with says they basically have one point guard available this year (Young). He is expecting ISU to run them off the floor after seeing our score against Drake last night and a narrow CU victory over Louisiana-Lafayette.

Lawson is averaging 12.2 PPG through their first 3 games, but only shooting 39% from the floor, which is really poor. In fact, most of their team is struggling to shoot the ball this year (sound familiar?):

    30 Young,Antoine (G) - 34.4%
    03 McDermott,Doug (F) - 38.2%
    25 Lawson Jr.,Kenny (C) - 39.1%
    23 Runnels,Wayne (F) - 50.0%
    24 Ashford,Darryl (G/F) - 53.3%
    12 Manigat,Jahenns (G) - 35.7%
    15 Korver,Kaleb (G) - 35.7%
    05 Jones,Josh (G) - 20.0%

He is hurt. Shoulder problems. He already has taken a redshirt season, and surgery to fix it would cause him to miss a significant amount of the season, so he has opted to gut it out.
