    Calvin Godfrey

Man I really enjoy watching him play. If I had to come up with a nickname for him it would be Calvin "Fullcourt" Godfrey. He's so quick off the floor and gives great hustle when he plays. I don't why any good program wouldn't want a 6' 8", 230 pound talent like his. (How did this kid run under the recruiting radar?). Anyways, I'm glad he's a Cyclone! Go Cyclones.

He does a great job moving while the shot is in the air. He's going to be a good one for sure.

    Re: Calvin Godfrey

Love his hustle. Got a real knack for rebounding. Is he really 6'8, though? I had heard he was more like 6'6, but the media guide has a habit of fudging the numbers.

Great rebounder and he isn't doing it with height. Great to have a player with a motor like that on the team.

    I like the nickname.

He seems to be a real hustler and plays hard baseline to baseline. Love those guys!

Love his hustle - MAX EFFORT! Can't wait to see him at about 245 - 250 and some offensive polish.

    Re: Calvin Godfrey

A big, thick guy like this, even if he's only 6'6" can become a force in college b-ball. Having a guy that hussles, rebounds and plays D will be huge for us in the future.

I'm just trying to imagine what it will be like when we can add the scout team to these guys. Future looks great for Hilton Magic!

With his shoulders it looks like he could play football. What a build...

Great rebounder. Hope he can develop some offensive skills.

    Love Calvin's game.

Make sure you keep hitting those books Calvin. The future is bright if you do.

    Re: Calvin Godfrey

Calvin was a real bright spot in this game. We need somebody that can bang around inside and get some boards. He looked really good and what did he score, 4 points?

    Re: Calvin Godfrey

You really actually have to love the freshman this year. Especially Godfrey and Ejim, but I love the core of young talent that will be in the program for four years. Add in the redshirts next year and look out.

It is nice to see five functional players on the court at the same time.
