So even though arnaud's knee is seriously damaged

Does anyone else wish you could see him go out there and just take a snap with a knee, it sucks so much knowing this is his last home game, i know its been talked about, and it would never happen, but its the type of tear jerking story you could see on ESPN...sorry for the emotion just really bummed about the whole situation with Arnaud

Re: So even though arnaud's knee is seriously damaged

I actually agree, that would be a really nice sentiment. Perhaps the two head coaches could even agree that it will happen at a certain point in the game, just to prevent any accidents. I do think Arnaud deserves one final down on the field of Jack Trice.

    True and Valiant

I also remember a game with Kansas when Cy (wore a huge suit then) went out to center field, squatted, and "pooped" a couple of chickens that had been dyed blue then chased them around.

I would love to see it happen but would be shocked if it did.

I would be shocked if AA would let it happen.

Exactly. AA I don't think would let that happen, unless like the 2nd poster said, the coaches agreed to something before hand.

I am sure Austen and the Coaches care most about getting a Victory, no reason to take anything away from that - should we win though - there will be one hell of a celebration with Austen the focal point of it! Otherwise, I think we just need to plan to cheer for him like Crazy when they announce his name on Senior Day

I would love to Austen take a knee (in the Victory Formation would be a real plus!!).

Re: So even though arnaud's knee is seriously damaged

Yeah, IF we get to the point of being able to take a victory formation knee, I'd really like to see Austen out there to take it. That's a big IF, but it would be nice to see. Thing about it is that he would have to be suited up, and they're not going to suit him up on the off-chance that we might be able to take a knee at the end.

Re: So even though arnaud's knee is seriously damaged

I heard tonight from a solid source that he will try to go out for the coin toss.
I hope he is able to.I know how emotional the final game can be....and he certainly deserves it.

Excessive intake of alcohol, we all know, kills brain cells, but naturally it attacks the slowest and weakest brain cells first. In this way regular consumption of beer eliminates the weaker brain cells, making the brain a faster and more efficient machine. That's why you always feel smarter after a few beers.

Think of the emotional lift that would give our team and the crowd. We are gonna have to play unbelievable, like always, and him out for the coin toss would make the W that much more amazing.
