I thought of grabbing some of that before the nebraska game but went with Shiner Holiday Cheer instead (i also recommend this). I might have to try this one

I thought this might be a thread about what people are drinking to get over the game today.

I will tell you what the secret is. It has a bit of sugar in it. Its so drinkable. It goes down very smooth.

My night picked up when I went to store and saw they had my favorite winter seasonal brew Leinenkugel's Fireside Nut Brown. Drowning my sorrows with this.

Whats that beer that Leinenkugel makes that has some deer on the front picture or something. I had that a month ago. I dont remember what it taste like. It was a lighter beer though. I had about 5 different beers before that, so thats why i dont remember.

Not sure but Leinenkugel does make several good beers as well as the Blue Moon. I'll have to try this Winter Abbey Ale, hopefully it makes the list for Old Chicago's winter mini-tour. This is my favorite tour as Fireside usually makes the list as does my favorite beer Stella Artois.

You gotta try it! It's really different. Its brand new this year too. I've never been big on Blue Moon, but this Abbey Ale and their Wheat beer is greatness.

usually it will be a darker, stronger beer as well, though 'winter ale' is a pretty broad category.

It has a very carmel color to it. It also taste exactly like it looks and smells. Pretty cool.

Blue Moons Winter Abbey Ale and Schell's Snowstorm are my 2 favorite Domestic Winter Seasonal's.

But the Greatest Winter Seasonal is Samichlaus Bier by Schloss Eggenberg, but watch out for that 14% abv it sneaks up on you :)
