    Water deposits on everything

I have what reminds me of limescale on everything, particularly the shower fixtures. I assume its not hard water stains as we have a softener. Can you over soften and create new problem with different stains? I need to get a test strip or two and make sure I've got the softener set correctly but anyone have any ideas? How about how to clean this crap. We have the brushed nickel finish on things, which, BTW, I wouldnt recommend because it is so tough to keep clean. I have CLR that I'm going to try but I'm afraid of wrecking the finish with that.

Yeah, and best I can watch is an internet feed of a crappy 1996 tv. I'm listening. Also, the Clones are unwatchable at the moment anyway.

I have no answer to your question...just wanted to make sure you weren't prioritizing home owner responsibilities over Cyclone football.
