    Nebraska v. South Dakota

Final score of 76-68. Nebbie shot 43.5% overall and only 21.4% from the 3 point line. SD shot even worse overall (38.7%), but shot slightly better from the 3 point line (23.3%). Almeida scored 20 -- at 6'11'' and 310 lb., he's a big boy. I wonder how mobile he actually is? Nebbie also grabbed 40 rebounds and shot an unbelievable 90.5% from the charity stripe!

Our team's bigs definitely need to improve to compete in the front court.

The game was on FSN Midwest here and I got to watch some of the game. Almeida is a definite wide body and is quite nimble for his size. He has moves in the post to his right and left, has good hands with touch around the hoop, and has decent stamina (played a good amount of minutes- not sure how many though.)

    Nebraska is definately bigger this year. 2 @ 6'11", 2 @ 6'10", and 3-4 @ 6'5"-6'9".

Almeida played a total of nineteen minutes, so I don't think he got too winded tonight.
