    ESPN 30 for 30-Marcus Dupree

Thought was a very good watch tonight. I was a very young kid and got to see Marcus play in person and can still remember how fast and big he was. Unreal talent.

It will re-air on Thursday night at 10:30 central time on ESPN2.

I remember Marcus, but had forgotten his story and what had happened to him. What a talent he was, and a sad story. I enoyed watching tonight.

That was pretty good. Sad, but good. Just imagine if he would have stayed at Oklahoma and been healthy the whole time.

I loved it, he is the same age as me, and I remember seeing all the news reports they showed.
    I want to either :
    1) Buy the DVD or
2)Buy on Itunes and record to DVD
but, when I search Amazon or Itunes I can't find it.
My wife is a Youth Minister and I think she could really use this for her group
    Where can I get this.

It was crazy to see how he tore apart the ASU defense in the Fiesta Bowl while not healthy or in shape.

Re: ESPN 30 for 30-Marcus Dupree

When they were showing Marcus his freshman year at Oklahoma, I kept waiting for them to bust out the footage of ISU getting smoked, but they kept it strictly to KU, Oki St., CU, and Mizzou.

Boy, did Dupree get screwed by his "agent".

That was a great 30 for 30, one of the best in my estimation.

Yep, that was the game I saw him in person. Grandparents lived in Arizona so was visiting them over the Holidays and went to the game. He only played like a half of football and put up 245 yards.

Re: ESPN 30 for 30-Marcus Dupree

I checked the score for the OU-ISU game the year Marcus played, and it was actually the last game played before he was inserted in the starting lineup against Texas. Score of the game was 13-3. I guess Barry Switzer thought "Damn if we can only score 13 pts against ISU, something ain't right!"

OU played ISU in the 4th game of the 82 season and only beat us 13-3. The next game they played Texas and believe that was Dupree's first real playing time.
