    Re: CF Podcast: 11-10 Edition

First things first, Blum wins because the correct answer is Chris Mullin. There was no flat top that came close. Well, OK, one and that’s Acie Earl. You’ve got to love a two-tier flat top. Little side note, did you know that Acie Earl was once the coach of the Tijuana Dragons? True story. I’m going to Twitter Acie Earl’s name today and see if he adds me. I’ll let you know the turnaround time on that.

Second, on not getting a man pass for One Tree Hill – I think you need to reconsider. From the beginning of the show, it was a drama based around two brothers (from different mothers) and basketball. That’s what got me hooked. What got me to stay – the super hot chicks. Great acting? No. Great storyline? No. Great show overall? No. For about four years in a row, every time the show started to wane a little, they’d throw in a sweet car crash.

    Other things of note:

    - Dan Scott, bad ***. (played by Paul Johansson who was also a recurring character on 90210 for awhile back in the day)

    - Heisman hopeful Joe Kane (Craig Sheffer) from The Program plays Dan Scott’s brother. Dan Scott shoots him. Interested yet?

    - The chick from the Cutting Edge (Moira Kelly) plays the lead character’s mom.

    - Hot chicks

    - There’s a clip of Hilton Coliseum played once during the series

    - There are a couple of Dawson Creek crossovers among the main characters

    - Princess Vespa (Daphne Zuniga) from Spaceballs is someone’s mom

    - One of the main characters (James Lafferty) played Steve Alford in ESPN’s “Season on the Brink” movie. Sorry, no Brian Dennehy

I could go on and on.

And, in that darkened corner, there's a fat kid giggling at a National Geographic.

Side note: I do not dream of Brent...much. Pizza Ranch is awesome, I could eat that chicken for 4 days straight. As for Colorado, I hope they can swing a really good coach that will get them back to winning again, which is easy for me to say now that they are leaving.

You sound like my dad. The old man would eat Pizza Ranch chicken on Thanksgiving Day if mom would let him.
