"But Barnes' ugly first exhibition performance is worth nothing because it's definitely not the start you're looking for -- or would expect -- from the freshman many are trumpeting as a potential national player of the year selection. How bad was it? Barnes scored seven points on 2 for 9 shooting with a team-high six turnovers in North Carolina's rout of Barton Friday night. According to the Durham Herald-Sun, Barnes looked "uncomfortable at times" and began the game with two turnovers and an offensive foul in the opening minutes."
Marshalltown's Chanse Creekmur:
"Chanse Creekmur is at Arizona State this year. ASU scrimmaged against Texas Tech on November 5th and Chanse put up 28 points against TT."
All of that scouting and high-school practice/games were all worthless! I once put up 14 pts at the local Y in one half of running clock play. Where's my scholarship to Duke? Or should I just declare for the NBA?
People have been saying Creekmur is way better than Barnes for years. This is not suprising at all to most people. Barnes is overhyped and Creekmur will be a top 10 lottery pick in the NBA. I point to the scrimmage as my proof of this.
Nobody but HB knows for sure. You pretty much know nothing....like Knownothing would like to say.
