Nice article, but it shouldn't be difficult to find a HC interested in Colorado: they have a good history until Barnett got cocky and they hired D-Hawks. But I hear the school doesn't have enough money ?
That's a great article, but Colorado is under pressure to catch up fast if they want to make it in the PAC-12 next year. If it wasn't for Washington State, they would be the weakest team in the conference by far next season. There are a couple "Rhoads-type" hires that already exist in the PAC-10, the best examples being: Mike Riley at Oregon State and Paul Wullf at Washington State. As you can see with those two examples, the risks are just as high as the rewards. Colorado cannot afford to miss on this hire, which is why a "name" hire would probably be the way to go.
Another note - it will be interesting to see how the Colorado media adjust to reporting about the Pac-12. From reading that article, it reads very mid-western and doesn't feel like "contemporary" West-Coast reporting.
